The American Diabetes Association (ADA) Expo happens once a year here in Los Angeles, and this year, PMIR will be participating as an exhibitor, as well as a presenter!
Two of PMIR’s physicians, Dr. Mahyar Okhovat, M.D. and Dr. Brandon Nguyen, D.O. will be giving a free presentation about Diabetic Neuropathy – Symptoms, Prevention and Treatments. The presentation starts at 10AM and will have a 15-minute Q&A session at 10:30AM. This is going to be a highly educational presentation about a potentially dangerous nerve damage condition related to diabetes, popularly known as “diabetic foot pain.” We will also have an exhibitor booth, where we’ll spend all day speaking to the public about our integrative approach to pain management.
By participating in this event we hope to support the American Diabetes Association’s mission to help those who suffer from diabetes live healthier and better lives. Our focus is to raise awareness about the pain conditions associated with diabetes, and educate those who have such conditions about the latest treatments available to alleviate their pain.
Please share this post if you know anyone who has diabetes, and could benefit from attending this expo!
