The PMIR Community Relations Team took to the “Peaceful Valley” to support the Free Clinic of Simi Valley for the 2nd Annual Community Health and Fitness Expo this past weekend. The Community Relations Director David Romero, and teammate Travis Johnston joined the Simi Valley Medical Community to help educate, collaborate, and empower the public to take charge of their healthcare needs. The day was filled with a number of educational opportunities as participants stopped by our booth to educate themselves on osteoarthritis pain, nerve pain, back pain, and chronic pain.
Simi Valley is truly a community-based city – when large public events take place such as the Health and Fitness Expo, the whole community rallies to show support. The Fitness Expo provided the PMIR team with a wonderful platform to get to know the families that help drive Simi Valley, and we would like to thank all of the health care professionals that came together to make this event happen. It is important for all current and prospective patients to be well informed of their health care needs prior to making medical decisions. It is PMIR’s commitment to helping those in chronic pain return to their passions through a regiment combining the best of Western, Eastern, and research–proven alternative therapies.
